Purim Palooza: A Mitzvah Morning

February 18 @ 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM

Cost: Free

Join Beth Shalom, PJ Library, jbabydetroit!, and Yad Ezra as we celebrate the four mitzvot of Purim. Come in costume and learn the story of Purim, package Mishloach Manot (Purim Parcels), discuss the importance of tzedakah, and prepare hamantashen to take home and enjoy or use for your own mishloach manot packages! This event is geared toward children up through age 6, but older children are certainly welcome!

A suggested donation of $5 per family is encouraged to offset the cost of the package items for Yad Ezra.

Hear the Megillah through PJ Library Stories!

Package Mishloach Manot food parcels for Yad Ezra recipients.

Learn about Matanot L’Evyonim, a special Purim tzedakah gift.

Celebrate at a Seudat Purim feast with treats, hamentashen making, and a Purim costume parade.

You can sign up to let us know you’re coming by visiting tinyurl.com/cbspurimpalooza – hope to see you there!
