Temple Israel “Restoring the Dream: An MLK Jr. Family Program”

January 14 @ 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM

Families with children in 3rd-6th grades are invited for a meaningful afternoon with the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History. Enjoy a kid-friendly guided tour of the museum followed by a thoughtful discussion with our Temple clergy about the Civil Rights Movement and the pursuit of justice through a Jewish lens. Children will have the opportunity to create picket signs that express their desire for social change and discuss the many peaceful ways we can make a difference in our community.

Open to the community. There is no cost to attend. Reservations are requested by January 8th. Please RSVP by January 8th to the Temple Israel Education Office at 248-661-5725 or email alicia@temple-israel.org
