

Eli Sharabi is an Israeli author and survivor of Hamas captivity. On October 7, 2023, Eli was kidnapped from his home and held hostage in Gaza for 491 days. He was freed on February 8, 2025, becoming one of the longest-held survivors to return home.
Following his release, Eli wrote the bestselling memoir Hostage, the first published account by an Israeli survivor of Hamas captivity. His book and public speaking have made him a powerful voice for resilience, moral clarity, and the ongoing efforts to bring every hostage home.
