Reminiscence Therapy (part 2)

Take a walk down memory lane and learn how recalling past experiences can boost your cognitive and emotional well-being. You’ll join Rusty Rosman, author and Detroit tour guide, and Joely Lyons, LMSW, as they continue exploring how reminiscing about cherished memories can boost brain health, lift your mood, and strengthen connections. Together, we’ll take a virtual tour of Detroit, celebrate the power of looking back to move forward, and leave feeling inspired to share our own stories.

**You do not need to have attended Part 1 to fully enjoy this session!**

About the presenters:

Rusty Rosman, author and Detroit tour guide, has been giving group tours of Detroit for over 10 years. She is also a former teacher and commercial real estate broker. Rusty has served as president and fundraiser for several nonprofit community organizations, including the National Council of Jewish Women. In her community, where she has lived her entire life, Rusty is a member of the Zoning Board of Appeals and the Property Tax Board. Rusty and her husband Stephen are very proud grandparents to six grandchildren.

Joely Lyons, LMSW, CHC, received her Master’s Degree in Social Work, with a concentration on Health and Aging Services, from Eastern Michigan University. Joely also holds a Graduate Certificate in Gerontology and Dementia and has extensive experience working with people living with dementia and their families. In addition, Joely is a certified health coach and Supervisor of Health & Wellness and Mind University at Jewish Family Service of Metro Detroit.
