“Zaidy’s Band” follows journalist Aron Heller’s decade-long search to uncover
his grandfather Mickey Heller’s hidden World War II service. Through
interviews, travels, and long conversations, Heller uncovers lost friendships,
personal tragedy, heroism, and emotional reunions within a remarkable group of
Jewish Canadian soldiers.

Part memoir, part history, and part mystery, “Zaidy’s Band” shows how ordinary
men fighting Nazism left extraordinary legacies, shaping their families and
the future for generations.

To learn more about Aron, please visit his website at aronheller.com – this is
where you can also purchase his book in advance.
