Balance, Fall Risks and Brain Health

Join Jewish Family Service as Brittany Denis, PT, DPT, RES-CPT, discusses the latest research on the connection between fall risk and brain health. She will share tips to improve balance and mobility, which can boost brain health, as well as an overview of various fall risk factors. Participants will leave with a new understanding of simple action steps to take at home to prevent falls, improve balance and confidence, and enhance brain health in the process.

About the speaker:  Brittany Denis, PT, DPT, RES-CPT, graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor of Biomedical Science and a minor in Nutrition in 2009. In 2013, she received a Doctor of Physical Therapy from Des Moines University. She is passionate about helping people improve their movement so they can continue doing the things they love.
