In this series, Professor Howard Lupovitch will look at three pivotal moments
in Jewish history and ponder: If the outcome had gone a different way, how
would things for Jews be different? While there is a quite a bit of
speculation in answering this question, it is also a way to understand the
impact of the events that did come to pass.
