In Hebrew, we don’t say goodbye. Instead, we say l’hitraot, which means “see
you later.”
After three wonderful years as our community’s resident Shlicha, Lior
Zisser‑Yogev is heading back home to Israel. And although we’ll miss her,
we’ve planned a joyful, family‑friendly way to say thank you—and
l’hitraot—with a special carnival send-off.
Join us for an afternoon of outdoor fun with blow‑ups, games, snacks and
community spirit—plus well wishes, photos and your chance to tell Lior how
much her time here has meant to Detroit’s connection with Israel.
* Family‑friendly carnival activities (blow‑ups, outdoor games)
* Snacks and refreshments (kosher)
* Time to share gratitude, memories and l’hitraot
**We are collecting photos, well-wishes and memories from the past three years
with Lior. Please use the link below to add your contribution to the
scrapbook.** https://www.newlywords.com/farewell-lior
