Meeting the Moment: The Future of Jewish Advocacy

March 15 @ 7:00 PM8:30 PM EDT

Join AJC Detroit for a timely conversation with American Jewish Committee CEO Ted Deutch and Professor Howard Lupovitch, Meeting the Moment: The Future of Jewish Advocacy. As antisemitism rises and global challenges intensify, the discussion will explore how nonpartisan advocacy, global diplomacy, and coalition-building drive real impact, locally in Detroit and around the world. Together, they will examine how Jewish leadership can meet this moment with strength, strategy, and purpose.

Ted Deutch became CEO of AJC in 2022, after serving 12 years in the US House of Representatives, where he chaired the House Ethics Committee and the Middle East, North Africa, and Global Counterterrorism Subcommittee of the House Foreign Affairs Committee. He also founded and cochaired the House Bipartisan Task Force for Combating Antisemitism.

Dr. Howard Lupovitch is Professor of History and Director of the Cohn-Haddow Center for Judaic Studies at Wayne State University, as well as an accomplished author.
