The Holocaust did not end with liberation. **Remembrance of Things Present**
brings forward the voices that followed—those who inherited memory, trauma,
resilience, and responsibility.
Experience powerful true stories of survivors’ children and grandchildren,
performed by professional actors. Hear from the son and grandson of a partisan
leader wrestling with his legacy; a daughter confronting her father’s Shoah
testimony; and the child of a French Resistance fighter inspired to a life of
activism. Together, these voices illuminate heroism, healing, and hope—when
they are needed most.
**The Braid** is the leading nonprofit organization dedicated to creating,
producing, and preserving stories rooted in Jewish culture and experience.
Through performances and educational programming, The Braid empowers audiences
to take pride in Jewish identity while fostering connection and understanding
across diverse communities.
