Local author, Rick Broida shares his new book, _Everything I Need to Know, I
Learned Playing Pickleball: Stories from the Court, Lessons from the Sport_ ,
followed by book signing, tours of JRec and a Pickleball demonstration. All
participants will receive a free JRec pass.

**ABOUT** Rick Broida brings 30+ years of “tech-pertise” to Yahoo product
reviews and best lists, specializing in speakers, streaming services, smart
home devices, TVs, laptops, drones and more. In addition to routinely testing
new products and services, he works to simplify the confusing world of tech to
make it more accessible to readers. Rick’s consumer-technology writing dates
back to the days of the Commodore Amiga, which means he’s not only very old
but also very wise (and incredibly modest). He’s worked for CNET, Lifehacker,
Popular Science and Wired, to name a few, and runs the Substack @dealsecrets,
focused on money-saving advice. During his off hours, you’ll almost certainly
find him swinging a pickleball paddle.
