Shabbat Around the World Series

Congregation Shir Tikvah is so excited to announce Shabbat Around the World!
Come celebrate Shabbat with music, joy, prayer, and song and then stay for a
delicious meal as we connect with other Jewish communities from around the
world through their cuisine. CST is the recipient of a partial grant from
Jewish Education For Families (JEFF) through the Jewish Federation of Metro
Detroit to supplement this incredible new program.
Kick off the Shabbat Around the World series begins with Spain on Friday,
September 20th. Services will be at 6:15pm with dinner to follow.
Elwin Greenwald, world renowned chef and owner of Elwin and Co. in Berkley,
has designed a menu for each country that will intentionally connect the
Jewish community in Metro Detroit with Jewish communities throughout the
world.
