Special Service at Temple Israel

**PLEASE JOIN US THIS EVENING AT 6:30 PM** in our sanctuary as we welcome the
hostages home through our celebration of Simchat Torah.

Simchat Torah means the Joy of Torah. This special commemoration will also
celebrate the Joy of Homecoming and the Joy of Freedom!

As part of this very special Simchat Torah celebration we will be lovingly
decommissioning the hostage chair installation that has been displayed in our
sanctuary since October 7th, 2023. We will also be placing the names of those
whose bodies have not yet been returned in a special display on our Yahrzeit
Boards with the prayer that this installation too will very soon become
unnecessary as those bodies are returned home to their families.
