“Stars of David” Concert

Adat Shalom Synagogue presents the Lillian E. Kaufman Memorial Concert “Stars of David” on Wednesday, September 4, 2024.

Based on Abigail Pogrebin’s best-selling book “Stars of David: Prominent Jews Talk About Being Jewish”, the musical “Stars of David” adapts the stories of well-known American Jews into humorous and touching songs. Among the personalities celebrated are Joan Rivers, Leonard Nimoy, Larry King, Fran Drescher, Kenneth Cole, and Ruth Bader Ginsburg.

Performed by Hazzan Gross and other cantors from across the country, this entertaining musical program will have you laughing, crying, and relating to stories of what it’s like to be Jewish in America.
