**STORIED** , the acclaimed storytelling and live music series exploring
Jewish collaboration and contribution to modern music, announces its newest
production: **_The HERstory Session: Jewish Women’s Contribution to Music_** ,
premiering **Sunday, March 29 at 7:00 PM at The Berman Center for the
Performing Arts.**
Spanning decades of music and multiple genres, **The HERstory Session**
reframes how audiences understand women’s roles in the music industry. Rather
than presenting women as footnotes, muses, or background vocalists, the
program highlights Jewish women as powerhouses, decision makers, innovators,
and cultural architects who shaped the music we love.
**The HERstory Session** showcases Jewish women across the music ecosystem,
from artists and songwriters to producers, executives, managers, and behind
the scenes change makers. The program also weaves in biblical and cultural
narratives that influenced modern music, connecting ancient Jewish
storytelling to contemporary sound.
Produced with support from **Burton A. Zipser and Sandra D. Zipser
Foundation.**
