The Collective’s Annual ECE Event: Where Jewish Journeys Begin
We are thrilled to welcome you and your staff to this year’s **Annual ECE
Event “Early Childhood Education: Where Jewish Journey’s Begin”,** a day of
professional learning, inspiration, and community designed to recharge and
equip our early childhood educators with new ideas and tools for the year
ahead.
Grounded in the values of Jewish early childhood education, this year’s
program will highlight how creativity, inclusion, and relationship-building
strengthen both our classrooms and our wider community.
**This year’s program will feature:**
* **Opening Plenary – _Let There Be Play_ with Jonathan Shmidt Chapman** – Explore creativity and storytelling as powerful tools for engaging young learners in Jewish life and learning.
* **Morning Workshops** – Two workshop sessions of hands-on, interactive learning led by expert facilitators, offering practical strategies for Jewish classrooms.
* **Lunch & Networking** – Connect with colleagues from across the community who share a passion for Jewish early childhood education.
* **Afternoon Plenary – _Creating Environments That Help Us all Thrive_ with Doors to the Future (Jewish Family Services of Metro Detroit)** – Learn how universal design supports all students and discover resources to strengthen inclusion in Jewish ECE settings.
**Registration Instructions**
* **Directors:** Please register each of your staff members using this form. Teachers should **not** register themselves. You may return to the form later to add additional teachers if needed. Be sure to provide accurate names and MiRegistry information for all staff to ensure smooth check-in and continuing education credit.
* **Presenters & Guests:** Please use the same registration form to register yourselves directly. In the MiRegistry field, you may enter “N/A” or skip the question.
