**THE RESISTANCE OF WOMEN DURING THE HOLOCAUST with Dr. Katie Chaka Parks**
In-Person | Holocaust Memorial Center – Zekelman Family Campus
**THURSDAYS, 1 – 2:15 PM**
Nov. 7, 14, 21
The Holocaust was not inevitable. Rather, it was the result of choices made
over time by individuals and groups of people to be perpetrators,
collaborators and bystanders. However, many people resisted the Nazi regime
including vast numbers of women. While women’s stories of resistance are
lesser known, they are vital to our understanding of how both Jews and nonJews
resisted dehumanization and hate during the Holocaust.
