The tradition of helping organizations throughout Metro Detroit and Israel
improve lives continues during Adat Shalom’s 10th Annual volunteer Day.
Volunteers of all ages are invited to be a mensch. Volunteer Day is made
possible thanks to a very dedicated planning committee.
**Projects include, but not limited to:**
* Create no-sew fleece scarves
* Cut plastic bags to make plarn
* Assemble bag lunches and snack bags
* Make toys for a local animal shelter
* Assemble baby baskets
* Illustrate notebooks
* Tie t-shirts into reusable bags
* Chesed Committee projects
* Cards for IDF soldiers
Plus, Better To Serve Teen program is doing a bake goods and dog biscuit sale
to raise money for JARC.
**Donations appreciated before and/on volunteer day: Collection bins are
downstairs by the Learning Community office.**
* Clean used t-shirts
* Travel & regular size toiletries
* New socks for kids & adults
* Feminine hygiene products
* Food, towels, & toys for animals
* New gloves and hats
* Diapers & wipes
* Baby food & formula
