Why Your Brain Needs a Garden

Join this free brainĀ  health workshop from Mind University and learn how gardening provides vital stimulation to our brains. Lynn Breuer, LMSW and Certified Health Coach, will highlight the brain benefits of gardening while master gardener Jan Coppola Bills will discuss how gardening can boost your brain power.

Lynn Breuer is Director of Chronic Disease Management at Jewish Family Service, a licensed clinical social worker, and a certified health coach who works with older adults and their families in order to help them age in place.

Jan Coppola Bills is the author of Late Bloomer: How to Garden with Comfort, Ease and Simplicity in the Second Half of Life, a certified landscape designer, advanced master gardener and contributing writer for State-by-State Gardening magazine.
