Professor Lior B. Sternfeld\, Associate Professor of History and JewishStudies at Penn State University\, will explore how Iranian Jews moved from themargins of society to playing a central role in Iran’s nation-building effortsby the 1970s. He will examine how the community navigated the IranianRevolution\, the challenges they faced under the Islamic Republic\, and the roleIranian Jews played in the relationship between Iran and Israel.
