DESCRIPTION:Join Temple Israel and United Hatzalah for a powerful and moving eveningfeaturing a screening of One Day in October\, the HBO documentary miniseriescapturing the human stories of October 7. \nThe evening will feature the episode “Ambulance\,” offering a gripping\, on-the-ground look at the heroic first responders who risk everything to save livesin the midst of crisis. \nFollowing the 30-minute screening\, hear from Eli Beer\, Founder of UnitedHatzalah\, as he shares firsthand insights into the organization’s life-savingemergency response efforts and critical psychotrauma care. The conversationwill be moderated by Rabbi Jen Lader and will include a real-time update fromIsrael. \nWhen terror strikes\, these volunteers run toward danger\, serving as the thinline between life and death. Join us as we stand with them\, with Israel\, andwith one another. \nThis program is appropriate for teenagers; however\, due to the nature of thecontent\, it is not recommended for young children. \nAdmission is free\, with a suggested donation of $18 per guest. \nRSVP is required.
