DESCRIPTION:Play an important role in the success of our annual **Trade SecretsFUNdraiser\, on April 23\, 2026\,** which benefits our flagship _Women to Work_program as well as our financial education classes\, homebuyer training\, careercounseling services\, and computer classes that empower women to achievepersonal success with renewed skills and confidence\, and the ability tosupport themselves and their families. \nThis year we are excited to welcome **Kristen Gross** as our honoree andkeynote speaker. An attorney\, entrepreneur\, and nonprofit leader\, Kristen willshare the secrets to her success and inspire attendees with her life story. Inaddition to honoring Kristen\, Gesher will celebrate the many women who havesuccessfully graduated from Gesher’s workforce development classes. \n**Morning Event Assistants** \n  * help with our silent auction set up and staging  * pack gift bags for our guests\, and   * assist with other set up tasks. \n_Shifts: 10 am to 1 pm or 11am to 2 pm_ \n**Evening Event Assistants** \n  * welcome guests  * staff our registration table  * assist guests with their silent auction bids\, and  * help prepare for the auction check out process. \n_Shift: 6 pm to 9 pm_ \n**Qualifications:** \n  * Must be 18 or older  * Able to lift up to 10 lbs. and stand for long periods  * Having comfort with technology and apps a plus!  * Criminal background check required \n**Location:** Detroit Marriott\, Troy\, 200 W Big Beaver Rd\, Troy\, MI 48084 \n**Dress:** Morning – casual\, Evening – business casual \n**Lunch and dinner provided.** \nOrganized by: Gesher Human Services \nView event on Jlive: https://jlive.app/events/15067
