He will be joined by award-winning journalist\, author\, and musician Devin Scillian.\n\nBernie Smilovitz is a celebrated television sportscaster with nearly four decades of experience at WDIV-Detroit\, where he anchored the 5\, 6\, and 11pm sports segments. Born in Brooklyn\, and raised in Washington\, D.C.\, Bernie made Detroit his home in 1986 and quickly became one of the city’s most trusted and recognizable broadcast voices. He earned seven local Emmy Awards and was named “best sportscaster” by Hour Detroit for 24 consecutive years.\n\n \n\n\nDevin Scillian is equally at home on your television\, on your bookshelf\, and on your iTunes.  Students\, teachers\, and parents know him as the writer behind the Memoirs series\, including Memoirs of a Goldfish\, winner of the Wanda Gag Award for best read-aloud book.
