DESCRIPTION:**Ride with us!** \nSpokes and Service is a new monthly bike ride led by **Service AmbassadorMitch Barnett** \, connecting Detroit cyclists to the people and organizationsworking to build a more just community. Each ride travels from Ferndale to aDetroit nonprofit partner\, pairing miles with meaning through education aboutlocal volunteer opportunities. \nOur first ride stops at the Pope Francis Center\, which serves Detroitersexperiencing homelessness through daily meals\, medical and behavioral healthservices\, housing navigation\, and long-term supportive housing. Their workmeets urgent needs while helping people move toward stability. \nWe will also collect nonperishable food items each ride to donate to acommunity fridge. Please bring a nonperishable food donation. Route providedafter registration. \n**This will be a no-drop ride.
