Learn how to best help your loved one living with dementia take part in daily activities, how to provide the right amount of support and balance safety and independence while managing expectations. Presented by Debra Ross
Debra Ross has served as a champion for quality dementia and healthcare education for almost three decades, working as a volunteer educator and speaker for the Alzheimer’s Association Michigan Chapter and as facilitator of the Dementia Certification program in cooperation with Schoolcraft College since its inception in 2013. She facilitates a monthly support group for individuals diagnosed in the Early Stage of Dementia as well as care partners and care givers. She remains a certified Dementia Practitioner since 2005 and is the Lead Facilitator of the assisted living director certification and licensing program in cooperation with the state of Michigan. Debra has presented educational forums statewide, including radio and television, focusing on best dementia practices.
