Hop on the bus for a delightful insider’s tour. Back by popular demand, we
will be going inside three former synagogue buildings in Detroit: Beth/B’nai
David, B’nai Moshe, and Adas/Adat Shalom. Come learn about the history of
these beautiful buildings and the original and current congregations housed in
them. This is a tour you will remember!
Sunday, October 27, 1:00pm -4:30pm
Cost: $72.00 Tour proceeds include donations toward the historic buildings’
maintenance.

Former Congregation Beth/B’nai David (Russische Shul), now New Mt. Zion
Missionary Baptist Church on Elmhurst
Former B’nai Moshe (Hungarian Shul), now St. Paul A.M.E. Zion Church on Dexter
Former Adas/Adat Shalom Synagogue (Northwest Hebrew Congregation), now Bailey
Cathedral S. W Michigan Church of God in Christ on Curtis
Things to keep in mind:
* This tour begins and ends from the parking lot of the current Adat Shalom building (29901 Middlebelt Rd, Farmington Hills, MI 48334)
* Bus will leave promptly at 1:00 PM
* We will return to Adat Shalom in Farmington Hills by 4:30 PM
* Please note: Stairs are needed to enter these historic buildings. They are not wheelchair accessible
* No refunds unless the tour is canceled by JHSM
