Spokes and Service

April 11 @ 10:00 AM1:00 PM EDT

**Ride with us!**

Spokes and Service is a new monthly bike ride led by **Service Ambassador
Mitch Barnett** , connecting Detroit cyclists to the people and organizations
working to build a more just community. Each ride travels from Ferndale to a
Detroit nonprofit partner, pairing miles with meaning through education about
local volunteer opportunities.

Our first ride stops at the Pope Francis Center, which serves Detroiters
experiencing homelessness through daily meals, medical and behavioral health
services, housing navigation, and long-term supportive housing. Their work
meets urgent needs while helping people move toward stability.

We will also collect nonperishable food items each ride to donate to a
community fridge. Please bring a nonperishable food donation. Route provided
after registration.

**This will be a no-drop ride. We plan to average 11–14 mph and ride a
predetermined route of 27–35 miles.**

Please reach out with any questions or concerns.
